I found myself in a tough spot—living in a drafty old house with my future looking as uncertain as the walls around me. Washing windows felt like the last place I wanted to be. I had dreams, big ones, but my attitude was dragging me down. I worked with a guy who, on the surface, seemed like the last person to offer guidance, but he turned out to be a pivotal figure in my journey.

This mentor of mine, a seasoned ex-sheetrock installer, shared wisdom about appreciating our work—even when it seemed tough. It was during one particularly cold winter, as we battled caulked-in storm windows on a four-story apartment building, that his words really hit home. I realized that our job, though challenging, was a far cry from the harsher jobs out there. This was my lightbulb moment.

These days, I’m not spending much time with a squeegee in hand. Instead, I’m steering the ship, leading teams, and expanding our brand while ensuring the glass we clean not only sparkles but spreads joy like a smile. As the captain of a company that prides itself on brilliance, I’m dedicated to creating opportunities for franchisees to thrive and helping make Window Ninjas a name everyone knows.
