Live disciplined, serve with passion, and shine brighter than diamonds.
Hey there! I’m Gabe Salinas, founder of Window Ninjas. Over the years, I’ve learned success isn’t about luck or talent alone. No one hands it to you. True success comes from working hard, staying disciplined, and serving others every single day. I’ve built my life and business around these 12 rules. If you commit to them, not only will your life change, but you’ll inspire those around you to level up too.
I’m not here to sugarcoat it. Success takes work. But if you follow these 12 rules, you’ll be on track to live a life that’s meaningful, impactful, and downright unstoppable.

1. Be On Time (Actually, Be Early)
There’s nothing more valuable than time. I don’t care who you are or how much money you’ve got in the bank. At the end of your life, you’d give anything for more time. That’s why I don’t waste it. And I’ll tell you this right now—for me, early is on time, and on time is late.
When you’re on time, you’re showing people that you respect them. It’s the simplest thing you can do, but it speaks volumes about who you are. Someone who’s always late? They’re not successful in my book. Be early, and you’re already ahead of the game.
2. Wake Up Early
Can you beat the sun up? If you can’t, ask yourself what’s holding you back. Life isn’t happening while you’re laying in bed. The early morning is when you set the tone for the day. It’s when things are quiet, and you can focus on yourself and your goals.
Six to eight hours of sleep? That’s more than enough. Get out of bed, drink your coffee, watch the sunrise, plan your day, and get moving. When you start your day early, you’ll find you want more time to enjoy life. Trust me on this one.
3. Move Your Body
Look, if you don’t have your health, you don’t have anything. I don’t care how much money or success you’re chasing. If you don’t take care of yourself, you won’t get there. You’ve got to move.
Run, walk, lift weights, hit the gym! I don’t care how you do it, just get out there. And here’s the kicker, do it in the morning. Exercising early builds discipline and energy, and that momentum will carry you throughout your day. Successful people prioritize their health because they know it’s the foundation for everything else.
4. Discipline is Everything
This is where the rubber meets the road. Success isn’t about doing what’s easy. It’s about doing what needs to get done, even when you don’t feel like it.
Stop hitting snooze. Stop watching Netflix all night. Stop eating junk and drinking during the week. Every choice you make impacts your future. Discipline isn’t about killing your fun. It’s about giving you the life you want. The more disciplined you are, the higher you’ll climb.
Think of it this way, discipline doesn’t take away your freedom. It gives you freedom.
5. Figure It Out
Life doesn’t come with a step-by-step guide. Problems will pop up, and there won’t always be an easy answer. But here’s the thing, if your life depended on figuring it out, you’d do it.
When things get tough, don’t just sit there and throw up your hands. Figure it out. Find a solution. We live in a world where you can Google just about anything. There’s always a way forward if you’re willing to dig in and work for it.
6. Take a Chance
If you don’t take a chance, how do you expect to win? Too many people play it safe and then wonder why they’re stuck. Success doesn’t happen in your comfort zone.

I’m not telling you to take crazy risks, but you’ve got to take smart, calculated chances. Whether it’s starting a business, changing careers, or making a big move, you’ve got to put yourself out there. You can’t hit a home run if you don’t step up to the plate.
7. Fail Forward
Listen to me, failure is not the end of the road. It’s part of the process. Every time you fail, you’re learning, growing, and getting better.
Parents, stop shielding your kids from failure. You’re not helping them. Failure teaches resilience and problem-solving. And you? Don’t fear it. Fail boldly. Fail often. Learn from it and move on. You’ll never know success if you’re afraid to fail.
8. Be a Producer
Every day, you should be asking yourself, “What am I producing today?” Success isn’t just about working hard; it’s about creating something of value.
Production doesn’t have to be a physical product. It can be a service, an attitude, or a solution. Our job on this planet is to serve and produce. If you’re not producing, you’re standing still. And standing still doesn’t get you anywhere.
9. Lead by Serving
This is one of the most important rules. Success isn’t all about you. It’s about how you impact and serve others.
When you lead with service, you make the people around you better. What does your team need? How can you help your family, your coworkers, or even a stranger? Serve with passion, and you’ll see success come back to you in ways you never imagined.
10. Have a Positive, Can-Do Attitude
People are drawn to positivity. They want to be around people who believe in themselves and inspire others to do the same.
I don’t believe in “can’t.” If you tell yourself you can’t do something, you’ve already lost. Instead, tell yourself you can. Show up with a can-do attitude, and people will trust you, respect you, and want you on their team. Success follows those who believe they can.
11. Show Up Every Day
You can’t succeed if you don’t show up. I’m not talking about just getting out of bed—I mean showing up fully. Be present. Be engaged. Give 100% to whatever you’re doing.

Whether it’s for your family, your career, or yourself, showing up every day is where the magic happens. The more consistent you are, the more momentum you’ll build, and that’s how you start stacking wins.
12. Consistency Builds Greatness
Here’s the final rule, and it ties everything together. None of these rules mean anything if you’re not consistent. It’s not enough to wake up early once, work out here and there, or serve others occasionally.
Success is a daily commitment. It’s doing the right things over and over again until they become part of who you are. What’s your vision for success? Are you willing to show up every day to make it happen?
If you stick with these rules, your success is inevitable.
Final Thoughts
Success isn’t about being the smartest or the luckiest. It’s about being disciplined, serving others, and showing up for yourself and the people around you. Follow these 12 rules, and life will open doors you didn’t even know existed. Now go out there, shine brighter than diamonds, and create the life you’ve always dreamed of!
